The Richard Nixon Foundation

I had no idea that so close to my home The Richard Nixon Foundation had so many guest speakers each month at the Nixon Library.  A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting Newt and Callista Gingrich.

The evening started with Newt Gingrich speaking about his book, Duplicity, and what motivated him to write it.  Following his speech, the floor opened to questions from the audience.  Then those in attendance were able to get an autograph signing from the couple as well as an opportunity to take photos with the couple.  Of course I took advantage of both opportunities.

The only regret I have was not bringing a copy for Callista Gingrich to sign of her book, Christmas in America.  After listening to Newt describe the purpose of her book series, which is to raise awareness of American history to young children, I knew what I was going to give my niece for Christmas.

This will not be the last time I visit The Nixon Library in Yorba Linda, CA.  Unfortunately I missed Ann Romney's visit, but I will not miss Greg Gutfeld's visit in a few weeks.

If you are ever visiting California, or live here, check out the event list from The Nixon Foundation for yourself.  It's definitely worth attending one of their events.
